IB Consultancy is proud to announce the acceptance of 22 leading papers and innovative abstracts for presentation during NCT CBRNe USA taking place from the 29th of April to the 1st of May at the University of Maryland. The abstracts and papers are going to be presented in response to a Call for Papers by IB Consultancy and the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) at the University of Maryland.
Researchers, first responders, as well as people from the industry have presented novel ideas and practices in their abstracts, ranging from social media usage by terrorist groups such as ISIS to persistent monitoring of acyclic low-level chemical effluents in restricted areas. Besides, authors of accepted abstracts include government officials in the United States as well as public health physicians for example from the Ministry of Health in Brazil. Full papers will be presented within the Innovation Stream of NCT CBRNe USA.
With regard to the high quality of application and the wide range of topics being discussed, Ilja Bonsen, Member of the NCT Scientific Committee and Managing Director of IB Consultancy, is: “delighted to be able to review such novel ideas and practices in the field of CBRN which will definitely be valued by the participants of NCT CBRNe USA”. The NCT Scientific Committee, chaired by Prof. Gary Ackerman (Director, Special Projects Division, START, University of Maryland), Committee is expecting to see the same quality in the elaborated papers to be submitted by the 1st of April. All papers will be made accessible for the public online as well.
