IB Consultancy and the Malaysian Ministry of Defense’s Science and Technology Research Institute for Defense (STRIDE) are proud to announce an official partnership for the leading Non-Conventional Threat (NCT) Asia 2016 conferences, exhibition and live demonstration.
NCT Asia 2016 will take place on 8 – 10 November 2016 at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will for instance focus on CBRNe threats and capability building in Malaysia, IED threats to Public Safety in Asia, enhancing preparedness for CBRN incidents, international cooperation in countering the evolving bomb threats and RN disaster management. NCT Asia 2016 will be opened by a live CBRN and EOD capability demonstration by the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, the Royal Police of Malaysia, the Malaysian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Health and STRIDE at Selayang Hospital. The demonstration will be followed by two days of exhibition and parallel conferences on CBRN, C-IED, EOD and demining. The full program can be viewed here.
The Science and Technology Research Institute for Defense (STRIDE) is a department under the Malaysian Ministry of Defense to provide technical support and scientific expertise to the Malaysian Armed Forces. It’s core mission is to strengthen research and innovation to generate technologies to ensure defense preparedness of the Armed Forces.
