In these challenging times, it is now more essential than ever to share our experiences and knowledge in the field of CBRNe (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and explosives), C-IED (Counter-Improvised Explosive Device), EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) and demining.
The CBRNe Society is committed to creating platforms for CBRNe stakeholders to exchange knowledge, build partnerships and promote innovation. Our continuous strive to adapt to the ever–changing environment, has led us to look beyond the conventional NCT events and brought us to the launch of the NCT Webinars. Staying connected is crucial in this period of crisis and knowledge exchange is essential for keeping our societies safe.
Based on the model of its famous NCT events, the CBRNe Society will give the floor to high-level panelists from around the globe, bringing together yet again valuable contributions to today’s discussions. The opportunity will be given to attendees to ask questions to the panelist and engage in interactive discussions.
For its first NCT Webinar taking place on May 13th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM (CEST) the CBRNe Society has chosen to tackle the most popular subject today: the COVID-19 crisis. Open to everyone, this webinar will feature speakers that are in the frontline of the battle against COVID–19: Healthcare professionals, civil first responders, emergency managers, industry representatives. From the United States of America to Asia, from Europe to South America, several speakers will present the situation of their respective country and the mechanisms that have been implemented to respond to the crisis.
Industry representatives will contribute to the discussions by introducing products and technologies that are essential for the COVID–19 response: From protective masks to testing equipment. The goal is to offer clarity on the different kind of solutions available today and provide insights into the “madhouse” atmosphere surrounding the current protective equipment market.
The NCT Webinar “COVID-19: Stories from the frontline” will be hosted on Zoom and access will be limited to the first 500 subscribers.
